Cristmas Lights and Christmas Tree's

Well every year I get all these cute Christmas cards in the mail. I just got 4 more today. And every year I feel bad I don't send one out. So I'm sayin Merry Christmas and We love you to everyone on this. I know it's lame so maybe I'll get my act together next year and send one out.
But thanks to everyone that's sent my fam one

Anyways the Christmas lights in Layton are awesome! Anyone that live's around Layton I strongly suggest you go see them. Of course is was cold but worth it. This is me and Carter (if you can't see us) in front of the train.
It was a lot of fun! Thanks to Joel for takin the cute pics and tryin to keep us warm.

So we went to go get our Christmas tree the other day. Carter had fun playin in all the trees. I was just cold and wanted to pick one quick.

It was cute he just followed Joel around pretending he knew what he was lookin for.

Decorating the tree was interesting. In about 2 secs Carter and I both broke a class ball. You can't really get mad at your kid when you just barely broke one to. But we got through it.

And Carter's favorite thing to do these days is to sit and watch his train. The only way we can get him to stop watching or not start in the 1st place is to say the train is sleeping. He's so freakin cute!

Well I hope everyone is enjoying this fun time of year even though it can be busy!!

Twilight!

On Fri. me and some of the girls from my family went to go see Twilight! We've all read the books and were excited to go. I know there are some mixed feelings out there about the movie but we all really liked it. I know I'm going to see it again. After the movie we all went out to eat and talked about all the difference's between the book and movie. It was way fun. And I have to give Joel thanks for that night cuz he offered to have all the kids that didn't go to the movie over to the house for a little party of their own. Of course Matt (Sarah's hubby) brought Davis and helped out to. Joel's a stud!!

Our busy week

The reason I say it's been a busy week is cuz on the 24th we had the client retreat, the 25th was our anniversary the 27th was Joel's bday on the 30th we had a halloween party the 31st was halloween(obviosly) Carson's baptism on the 1st and all the days in between were filled with work or friends coming over to hang out. It was way fun though!
My mom had surgery earlier this month so I offered to have the family Halloween party at my house this year. I don't have a whole lot of cool pics my sisters took most of them cuz I was busy taking care of other things. So hopefully they'll post em. We did lots of fun stuff we had mummies for dinner and lots of scary food. We did a pinata, bingo and a doughnut eating contest. It was way fun! Thanks to everyone that helped me out!
Here's a pic of Carter. Joel got him to stand in the Heisman trophy position! Obviously he was a football player this year! He's so freakin cute!

Here is Joel's pumkins that I thought were funny. It's one throwing up from drinking to much and the other one is looking at it like ewww. Joel's the coach if you can't tell. At the trunk or treat thing we went to on halloween one of Carter's friends from church was a football so we thought that was perfect and had to take a pic! Carter had fun going around trick or treating. He got tonz of candy. After the trunk or treating was over we went to our house and some friends came over and we all partied it up! So Halloween was fun! Joels Birthday and our Anniversary
For Joels bday his friends made him a cake. What's funny about this cake is that Joel is a Chargers fan and Josh is a Broncos. So it was funny. On Joels bday we had my sister watch Carter so we could go out on a date. We ended up just going to dinner cuz his friends wanted to come over and hang out so we had some people over and partied! So our anniversary was 2 days before Joels bday. I left my camera at his parents house when we dropped Carter off so I don't have any pics. But we had a good weekend. On the 24th we went to my Dad's client retreat that he does every year. It's at the Grand America hotel and this years speker was Frank Abigneal (I'm sure thats spelled wrong) the guy that the movie "Catch me if you can" was about. That was really fun. He was way good speaker. Becca got a pic of us with him so hopefully she'll post it. That night we left Carter at Carols cuz we were leaving the next morning to Park City. That was way fun we shopped, sat in a hot tud and slept in it was way nice! So it was a fun anniversary! Not as cool as last year (it being a cruise and all) but still nice to spend some alone time together! So yeah the last week was way busy.

Pumpkins!!!

Tonight we carved our pumkins. Joel was a champ and did all the dirty work like cleaning out the pumkins and cleaning up. While I got to do the fun part of cutting out the eyes and stuff. Carter had a good time till we put a candle in the pumkin for some reason that stressed him out.
When we were done Carter was givin his pumpkin hugs and kisses. It was so cute!

Last week we went to the pumkin patch. It was way cool they had tonz of fun stuff to do. The slides were huge. If you can click on this pic to enlarge it you have to Carter's face is priceless! This big one was mine and Carter's fav one! You'd get goin pretty fast! Thats us walkin up.Carter loved the maze! He was running the whole time sayin "dis way, dis way" After we did all that stuff we went on a hay ride and then got to go pick out 3 pumkins. Carter had fun pickin out his pumpkin!

Carter's so Funny

So funny story with one of Carter's baths. At 1st Carter was having tonz of fun. When he was playing with the bubbles he went to wipe his face and got it all over himThen he got freaked out and this is his face that I thought was so funny!! He was stressin out cuz he couldn't get the bubbles off. It's probably nothing new to those of you who have older kids. But I got a kick out of it.

Nate Leaves

Well Nate left today. It was a pretty rough day. I know some people think I'm being a baby. But I've gotten really close to Nate and I'm just going to miss him. Of course when we were all saying bye we were all crying. Nate did find a way to make us laugh. At lunch we were joking that you can tell who the new missionaries are cuz they look like a dear in head lights. He was pulling faces to show us what he meant. But after he said bye to all of us he looked back as he was walking off and gave us that look. We all laughed a little. It was so Nate. I'm so proud of him and he's going to do a great job. Love Ya Nate!
Doesn't he look so cute with his name tag!!

Nate's Farewell

Nates farewell was really good. We are always joking around with Nate. So in church when he spoke I was very impressed. He sounded so mature and so ready to serve a mission. He did so good. I'm so pround of him. Tonz of people came to. And of course a bunch a girls. It was a really fun day. But of course there was a lot of tears.

I had been trying to get a cute pic of Nate and Carter for like a week or 2. Every time I try this is what happens. Nate thought it'd be funny to pretend like Carter was crying cuz he was going to miss Nate so much. So Nate pretended he was crying cuz he was going to miss him to.
The night Nate got set apart I finally got a good pic of Carter and him! That was the last night Carter and Nate saw each other. It was way sad for me to have Nate say bye to Carter. Carter doesn.t get it of course. He loves Nate so much!

Hanging Out With Nate Before He Leaves

Since it was Nate's last night of Monday night fooball for 2 years we thoght we'd make it fun. Koji, Dan, Sarah and Matt all came over. Sarah and Matt gave Nate this sweet helmet. He was laughing when he saw it. He loved it!

Cater loved it too!

Joel and Nate usually make steaks when he comes over so Joel got him a 35oz steak. It was huge! Matt said he'd give him $10 if he ate it all. Nate got really close but couldn't do it. It was a really fun night!

The Sat before Nate left Becca, Phil, Matt and Nate came over and hung-out. So of course we got out Rock Band. Everyone got into it. It was way fun!

The pictures of us playing Rock Band never shows how much fun we have!

A couple weekends ago we went up to the cabin with some friends. Which we did a bunch this summer. But with Nate leaving soon we invited him to. I was glad we did cuz it gave him a chance to go up there one more time. Plus it also gave us a chance to hang-out with him! We had a lot of fun playing games and as you can see making s'mores!

Nate was funny he needed a jacket so he went into my parents closet at the cabin and came out with one of my mom's really old, dated jacket. Everyone thought it was funny!

The Last 6 to 7 months

I figured since I just started blogging I would put in a bunch of stuff that has happened over the last 6 or 7 months so everyone has something to look at! So here ya go!

For July 4th we went up to my family cabin for the weekend. They have lots of fun stuff at the park like the "big big slide" as Carter called it. And the race that Becca and I got killed in by all the little kids. Carter loved the fireworks this year too!

Carter got his 1st haircut!! I know, he's like his mom and doesnn't have much hair so it took till he was 2 to have enough hair to cut. He was awesome though. I think cuz he see's me working on other people so he was excited to get his turn.

We didn't miss one Boston game during the playoffs since that's Joel's team. But it was so cute cuz when the game would get close Joel would get nervous and stand up. So Carter would go over by him and stand there with them. My men are so cute! Joel was pretty stoaked when Boston won!!!!

Carter is 2!! On his birthday (may 6th) we took him to the Hill Air Force Museum cuz he loves planes. He kept saying "pwane, pwane!" It was fun!

For his birthday Joel and I got him a little four wheeler. It was so funny cuz when he pushed the button to go, he hadn't learned how to turn yet so he kept running into everything.

Back in April we went to Disneyworld. It was way fun. Carter loved seeing all the characters. He ran right up to the little einsteins. Just like they were his best friends.
